Donald Trump has campaigned on a border wall with Mexico, but ABC News' early exit polling shows it "looks like a losing issue for Trump," as economic analyst Steven Rattner tweeted.
Rattner was referencing ABC News' preliminary exit poll results here.
Some of the more notable other early findings:
- Only 24 percent made their decision in the past month, while 75 percent decided earlier.
- The presidential quality that mattered most was "Can Bring Change" (38 percent), over "Right Experience" (22 percent), "Good Judgment" (22 percent), and "Cares About People Like Me" (15 percent).
- The exit poll included 37 percent Democrat, 32 percent Republican, and 31 percent Independent.
