President Donald Trump on Monday blasted the Department of Justice for "slow walking" the release of millions of documents that Republicans have demanded.

House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., served the department with a subpoena last month for documents concerning the FBI's investigation into Hillary Clinton's private email server, the firing of former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, and the surveillance of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

The FBI has doubled its staff dedicated to responding to the subpoena, and Director Christopher Wray admitted that the "current pace of production is too slow," according to Talking Points Memo.
