President Donald Trump took yet another shot at CNN on Monday morning, repeating his manta that the cable network airs "fake news" and declaring its ratings are in the tank compared to those of Fox News.
The commander-in-chief fired off at tweet at just after 9:30 a.m. stating:
He was likely referring to a Gallup poll that CNN had reported on an hour earlier which found his job approval rating has plummeted, while 58 percent of Americans disapprove of his performance in the White House.
And last Friday, CNN released the results of a CNN/ORC poll on Trump's immigration priorities, which found nearly two-thirds of Americans saying they would prefer undocumented immigrants be given a way to obtain legal status rather than face deportation.
Trump has slammed CNN for months over its reporting, claiming its journalists are delivering "fake news" about him. He has also crowned other media outlets with the "fake news" tag for coverage he hasn’t agreed with.
