NBC and MSNBC will simulcast a primetime forum featuring Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump answering questions about national security and the military, in yet another example of TV-news outlets testing different methods to present Presidential candidates at a time of extreme viewer interest in politics.
On September 7, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, a non-profit that works with veterans of wars fought over the last two decades or so, will host both major party presidential nominees, in a live broadcast in which each candidate will discuss issues the next president will have to confront as Commander-in-Chief. Trump and Clinton are not expected to appear together, but rather "back to back," the organization said in an announcement Thursday night.
