Donald Trump has a small but dedicated group of supporters in Hollywood — but more entertainment movers and shakers could emerge to back him as the 2016 election race intensifies.
"From actors to studio executives, being a Republican in the entertainment industry has never been in fashion. But there are some who openly back the real estate mogul,"
The Hollywood Reporter's Paul Bond writes.
They include: Jon Voight, Scott Baio, Ted Nugent and some members of TV's "Duck Dynasty" family.
But Dave Berg, who was a co-producer on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," told The Hollywood Reporter he believes some celebrities will "come out of the closet" for Trump as the November election nears.
Still, the magazine said that of "dozens" of Trump voters in the industry it spoke with, "few wished to announce their support, citing their desire to avoid backlash from co-workers."
