Striking back at criticism for using the term "mission accomplished" after the bombing of Syrian chemical weapons targets, President Donald Trump tweeted a shot at the "Fake News Media" for seizing on what "is such a great military term" – one he vows to "use often."
Among the critics of President Trump's use of "mission accomplished" was former President George W. Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer, who tweeted he would not have ended a tweet with those two words.
It took Fleischer mere minutes to critique President Trump's tweet of "a perfectly executed strike" in addition to the criticized two-word phrase.
President Trump also expressed some patriotic pride in the American military strength he has helped rebuild after years of budgetary cuts during the Obama administration.
