Donald Trump laced into prominent Republicans in a sharp-tongued attack on both allies and critics, including 2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney — about whom he dismissively claimed, "I have a store that's worth more money than he is."

The Hill reports the biting rant came during a Trump speech in Anaheim, Calif.

"Poor Mitt Romney. I have a store that’s worth more money than he is," Trump said, The Hill reports. "I understand losers, you can make a lot of money with losers," adding the former Massachusetts governor "choked like a dog, he’s a choker."

He also chided former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who last July called Trump a "cancer on conservatism."

"Good guy, he said the worst things about me and I always liked him," Trump said, The Hill reports. "This politics is a dirty business, I’ve never seen people pivot like politicians. I got a call, Rick Perry, he made the nicest speech. He actually said something to the effect that [I was] perhaps the smartest person to run for the presidency. He found out, he knew."

Of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Trump cynically predicted he "will get a burst of energy" and finally endorse the presumptive nominee — a turn of his oft-repeated claim that Bush is "low energy."

But Trump told supporters he's really a "nice person" who "loves people," The Hill reports.

"If I was nice to everybody, I wouldn’t be here today, I’d be watching television,” he said. "And if and when I win, I’m going to be very nice because then it is a question of good management."
