Hillary Clinton's new ad campaign gained so many viewers it crashed her website Thursday night, according to the Daily Caller

"Trump Yourself" lets users depict what Trump "really thinks about people like you" and superimpose a quote from the Republican presidential nominee over their pictures. A representative from the Clinton campaign told Mashable the app and doesn't require data from Facebook, as many have reported.

Among the possible quotes to use are: "If you need Viagra, you're probably with the wrong girl," from a 2004 Playboy interview, and "Oh, look at my African American over here. Look at him. Are you the greatest?" from a rally on July 3.

According to Clinton campaign staffer Teddy Goff, the swarm of users trying to use the app delivered the most traffic the campaign site had received in 15 months.

The phrase "what Trump thinks about people like you," mirrors a popular polling question, which the Caller says is a prime indicator of who will win the presidential election. In 2012, 81 percent of voters in exit polls said President Barack Obama "cared about people like them."

A Fox News poll released at the end of June shows that 45 percent of voters think Clinton cares about people like them, compared to 35 percent for Trump.
