President Donald Trump continued to argue in his defense on Thursday with regard to the Russia investigation, calling the probe "prosecutorial misconduct."

Trump posted multiple tweets around the same time Fox Business Network's Maria Bartiromo was interviewing Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif. Nunes is a strong Trump defender and has clashed with Democrats when it comes to allegations that Trump has ties to Russia.

"PRESIDENTIAL HARASSMENT!" Trump tweeted at 8:40 a.m. EST.

Ten minutes later, Trump acknowledged Bartiromo in another tweet.

"'We know what took place. We have already seen criminality. What is happening? Biggest political scandal of our time.' @MariaBartiromo You are 100% correct, Maria, it is a disgrace that nothing happens. Obama and Biden spied on my campaign, AND GOT CAUGHT...BUT NOTHING!" he wrote.

Trump closed the flurry of posts by writing, "PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT!"

During the Nunes interview, Bartiromo prefaced questions about what she called the "Russia hoax" by saying "we already have seen criminality, you had an FBI agent changing, doctoring evidence … we had abuses at the FISA court, we had leaking, we had lying to Congress."

In his response, Nunes called the Russia investigation a "conspiracy" and said he looks forward to seeing a report by federal prosecutor John Durham, who is probing the origins of the Russia investigation, whenever it is finished.

"It will be a shame if this is not out before Election Day," Nunes said.
