Twitter Reacts to Trump's Apology Pivot

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's new teleprompter campaign approach, on the heels of a campaign shakeup and addition of manager Kellyanne Conway, was highlighted by Thursday night's mea culpa apology to a Charlotte, North Carolina rally and it generated some mixed reactions on Twitter.

Bill Kristol, of The Weekly Standard, tweeted: 

The one thing I can promise you is this: Donald Trump will not always tell us the truth. Of course, nor will Hillary Clinton.

The media have so bought into the pseudo-drama of "will Trump pivot or not?" that they fall hard (if briefly) for each of his pseudo-pivots.
