Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says political rival Ben Carson has a "pathological temper" that can't be cured any more than a child molester can be cured.
In an interview with CNN airing Thursday, the businessman points to Carson's own descriptions of his "pathological temper" as a young man.
Trump says "that's a big problem because you don't cure that" and goes on to say that child molesters can't be cured either and that "pathological" is a very serious disease.
In his book "Gifted Hands," Carson describes the uncontrollable anger he felt at times while growing up in inner-city Detroit. He refers to his "pathological temper" in recounting the time he nearly punched his mother and when he attempted to stab a friend with a knife.
