Remember how the media rushed to print the story that an Israeli rocket hit a hospital in Gaza killing lots of people?
Then just days later, it turns out that the rocket was a misfire from Hamas and it hit the hospital’s parking lot.
Even with proof from the Israeli government and confirmation from the U.S. government, legacy media outlets dragged their feet in making corrections. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., of Palestinian descent, continued spreading the lie even after it was proven as such.
Hamas is spreading a new lie that many in the legacy media have been all too happy to run, perhaps because they sympathize with the Hamas goal of undermining the nation-state of Israel.
This new lie says that thousands of Palestinians are trapped inside Gaza’s largest hospital, and they are now claiming to be digging a mass grave to bury patients who supposedly die because of the Israeli onslaught, ignoring the fact that Hamas waged this war against Israel, sparking the bloodiest attack on Israel in its modern history.
Now Hamas is trying to tug at the world’s collective heartstrings by saying the Israelis won’t allow even the babies to be evacuated, claiming dozens of patients, including three premature babies have died in recent days.
If true, the destruction of life is horrible.
It would be wise to contextualize. One should also consider the report of beheaded Israeli babies. Strangely, no mention of that.
Let’s also consider the source of the information.
Hamas started the first hospital lie, knowing full well it was false. The Israeli army offered to evacuate infants from the hospital.
That’s a pretty humane offer, a courtesy which Hamas refused Jewish babies and children they took hostage when they attacked Israel last month.
The Palestinians have either chosen or been forced by Hamas not to take Israel’s offer because doing so might show that the Israelis aren’t as bloodthirsty as Hamas wants the world to believe, a belief that add fuel to the Hamas cause.
And there’s another reason that this rumor shouldn’t be believed.
Hamas has shown it has no problem with using civilians as human shields.
The hospital is suspected of being over top of Hamas headquarters in the area.
If so, the hospital itself is a massive human shield.
Hamas wants world sympathy, hoping it will pressure Israel to end its attack on Hamas.
The bully who started the fight is now crying foul because his victim punched him in the nose. But their behavior is not surprising. It fits a pattern. Shortly after Hamas attacks, on
Oct. 13, I predicted Israel would put down this wave of Hamas terror.
Hamas would then mischaracterize Israel’s response as abusive which would be carried by sympathetic legacy media with accusations of brutality, of which Hamas is actually guilty.
Why the political transference?
Hamas and their legacy media sympathizers use it to foment more anti-Israel sentiment in order to recruit foot soldiers to populate future waves of direct-action violence against Israel and the global nation-state system.
There are war crimes happening in Gaza, but it looks like Hamas is committing them. Hamas launched the unprovoked attack against innocent civilians last month.
They not only killed innocent Israelis, but they butchered and violated many of them and took hundreds of hostages.
Reuters reported, Hamas terrorists "burst across the fence around the enclave and rampaged through Israeli towns killing civilians on Oct. 7. Israeli says 1,200 people were killed and around 240 were dragged back to Gaza as hostages in the deadliest day of its 75-year history."
Leaders of Hamas knew Israel would not sit by and leave their atrocities unanswered.
That’s why they took civilians. Hamas have no problem killing innocents to get to their target.
They showed that in their initial attack, but they knew the Israelis’ value of human life, a value that results in measured, surgical responses, minimizing civilian deaths, both Israeli and Palestinian.
While there may be a mass grave dug, it isn’t filled yet, but if it does fill with bodies, the press would be wise to examine how those people were killed. Some believe it is not beyond the pale for Hamas to kill people to fill the grave and make it appear to be the fault of Israel.
We should not take our eyes off such developments, and be mindful of what is really happening in Gaza, versus what he left media tells us and/or would like us to believe.
A Reuters story on Newsmax, relates the following: "Al Shifa hospital in Gaza City has become the main target of the ground operation by Israeli forces, who say Hamas fighters have the "beating heart" of their operations in a headquarters in tunnels beneath it, which Hamas denies."
The problem in this war is not of Israel’s making.
Those who sparked the flames of violence are the same ones perpetuating it, Hamas terrorists in control of Gaza.
Make no mistake about it, as long as this fanatical organization remains, violence in the Mideast will also.
