America, I have been to Davos. I worked at Davos. I know Davos.
America, Davos is not your friend.
Davos is beautiful. It isn’t even beautiful in a Gstaad sort of way; it’s beautiful in a lovely little Swiss village sort of way. It’s not the least bit haughty. Don’t go expecting the warmth of Provence, the Swiss are who they are, but John Kerry types (social relevance applied) do not inhabit this little village. Davosians are polite; even more so, correct. They do not in any way project the desire, nor the expectation, to take over the world.
That is until George Soros, John Kerry, and their fellow betters come to town every January.
There is no word that exists that can describe the atmosphere of this convocation in Davos for the brief period of the World Economic Forum in January of each year. Arrogance doesn’t come close; hubris, no, doesn’t either; something approaching the astonishing level of the Barack Obama ego — that’s a bit closer, but still not quite there. The level of the psyches of those elevated enough to be invited to participate in the annual WEF in Davos is in such a rare stratosphere that there probably isn’t even a word extant that can describe it outside of Greek mythology.
Let’s say this yearly meeting is emblematic of why our current President is our President. Donald Trump is as humble as the least of us compared to the average decision maker of the World Economic Forum at Davos.
They recognize no masters.
They, to themselves, are truly the masters of the world.
Those at this convocation don’t like America. They don’t like anything about America, except the money it can provide those in the rest of the world they deem to be the more worthy recipients of this seemingly unending supply of American beneficence. Thus, the ubiquitous international organizations to "do good" around the world that exist — and are either funded in large part by the American taxpayer, or those that are fully funded by we American saps. The people at Davos cannot meet for 15 minutes without coming up with a new organization or a new group or a new reason or a new policy for which America is responsible and for which America has to pay. A clever way is figured out by these very clever international types (they have been doing this for years, and we have been falling for this for the same amount of time) to work this into seemingly benign legislation in Washington so that stupid Americans (us) don’t know what is going on. Then, voila, the next convocation happens, the next reason for the billion or so dollars to be bilked from the stupid Americans occurs to our betters, and the next piece of legislation is enacted authorizing and appropriating these "necessary" funds outside of the United States and separate from its people.
Climate change, anyone?
Globalism, that is, a one-world government with neither individual sovereign states nor their populations having any say over their own decisions and/or destinies, is the raison d’etre for Davos, and what our betters at Davos have been promoting for years there and elsewhere. This is no longer a similar such creed in the United States, at least among those who will now be leading our country.
This is upsetting the former international power brokers at Davos very much. The reason is a very simple one: Donald Trump, our new leader, loves America. He wants America to have the unique say over its destiny; he wants the American people to be the determiners of their own futures, of the directions their own country takes in the world. Donald Trump does not intend to cede America’s power and treasure to the George Soros and John Kerrys of the world; if he’s going to cede it to anyone, he’s going to cede it to the American people. Unlike the George Soros and John Kerrys of the world, Donald Trump does not have contempt for the American people. He has nothing but the greatest respect for the will and the opinion of the American people. (I know what you’re thinking, that Trump thinks that because, after all, they chose him, didn’t they? Well, there is that, but Trump, nonetheless, really does love and cherish America and its people.)
And for that he will be mocked and reviled at this Davos and every one following. He will be called every "phobe" imaginable, along with a populist, among other things, which I just learned is a bad thing. According to the globalists, if you love your own country ahead of all others, you are the worst of breathing creatures.
So, amidst all the lamentations coming from Switzerland following Davos, there will also be fear, because if Donald Trump, who, I think you have noticed, fears nothing and no one, makes his experiment work, which he very well might, then they won’t have anyone to whom to lament. Oh, the idiotic mainstream media will always listen, and pretend what the globalists are saying makes sense, but their audience will grow smaller as common sense begins to seep in, people actually get back to work, make some money, and begin improving their lives as they get out from under the tyranny of the left.
And the left can’t stop this. All they can do is to seek to destroy Trump, and they are proceeding at that at warp speed. So far, though, all our former "betters" have accomplished thus far, at the beautiful little village at Davos, is to come up with some really idiotic things and are implementing them, to quote the late and not-so-great Barack Obama, "stupidly."
