Lorenzo Brino, a child star who appeared in the hit TV series "7th Heaven," died at age 21 in a car accident.
The actor was driving alone in a Toyota Camry when he lost control of the vehicle and smashed into a utility pole, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. Lorenzo was pronounced dead at the scene last Monday but his identity was only revealed now, as tributes from friends and family members begin to filter in on social media.
"To my amazing and crazy brother. You might be gone but it’s true when people say 'gone but never forgotten,' wrote his sister, Mimi Brino, in a post on Instagram. "You brought light to so many lives and you did so much with the too short of a life that you had," she continued. "Believe me when I say that you drove me so insane at times, but you were also a part of some of my most cherished memories. I am so so happy to know that I was beyond loved by you and that I forever have a guardian angel by my side."
Lorenzo's aunt, Janet Brino, shared how the death of her nephew "left a hole" in her heart, according to TMZ. "God needed another Angel and he took you. Please watch over your mom and dad. You sister Mimi, brothers, Antonio, Zachary and Nicholas."
Lorenzo was part of quadruplets who rotationally played twins Sam and David in "7th Heaven," which aired from 1997 to 2007, according to TMZ. His first appearance on the show was as a newborn in 1999 and he was a main character until the series concluded.
