Aaron Hernandez, the former New England Patriot serving a life sentence for murder, was reportedly involved in his third prison fight on Thursday.

Sources told 7 News that Hernandez got into an altercation as he was being moved out of segregation and back into the prison block.

The incident reportedly marked the third fight for the former NFL star since he was sent to Souza Baranowski Correctional Facility in Shirley, Massachusetts, according to 7 News.

Hernandez is serving a life sentence for the murder of Odin Lloyd. He has also been charged in connection to a separate double murder in Boston and is awaiting trial, the news station reported.

Online reactions to the prison fight report were mixed:

As Hernandez grapples with prison fights, concerns have been raised about possible issues with one of the jurors who convicted him in April of murdering Lloyd, ESPN said.

A tipster, who has not been identified, is being questioned under oath about potential jury issues, the sports website reported. Some doubts about the veracity of the tipster’s claims have been raised because the woman was apparently involved in a sexual relationship with Hernandez at one time.

Hernandez has pleaded not guilty of gunning down two men at a Boston nightclub. He will be going to trial later this year.
