Alex Rodriguez told Jimmy Fallon on Thursday’s “Tonight Show” that since he began dating Jennifer Lopez, he gets mistaken for J.Lo's bodyguard “all the time.”
Former Yankees player and World Series Champion Rodriguez confessed to Fallon that it was "humbling" to date Lopez. They've been together for seven months.
"When I was with the Yankees, and we won the world championship, and you wear the pinstripes, you think you’re pretty cool," Rodriguez told the "Tonight Show" host. "But then you hang out with Jennifer, and they confuse me with the security guard all the time."
“I promise you, we were at the Met Gala and the paparazzi were screaming at me — not even in English — saying ‘Get the hell out of the way! Get out of the way! We want a picture,” Rodriguez said.
Lopez gueshed about Rodriguez when she appeared on "The Late Late Show" with James Corden in May. "He's a great guy. He's fun. He's awesome. ... I am happy."
Last week, Rodriguez told "Extra" that Lopez is "one of the most impressive and smartest human beings I have ever met."
