A pair of new trailers for "Anchorman 2," the sequel to the 2004 cult hit featuring a zany, loud-out-loud news crew, thrilled fans with their unveiling on Wednesday.
Trailers released by Paramount for “Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues” exploded on the internet as fans rushed to discover new details about the sequel featuring Will Ferrell’s Ron Burgundy, a legendary San Diego television anchor, and the zany news crew of Steve Carell’s Brick Tamland, Paul Rudd’s Brian Fantana, and David Koechner’s Champ Kind.

This time, the politically incorrect gang are floundering in their trademark manner in New York City as they try to adjust to the 80s.
Both trailers exceed the two-minute mark and provide story background for the clueless crew.
The trailers contain several sight gags that include a Winnebago on "cruise control," the news crew encountering a gay man they mistake for a vampire, and an inconsolable Brick attending his own funeral.
Due in theaters Dec. 20, the film also features returning actors Christina Applegate as Veronica Corningstone and Vince Vaughn as Wes Mantooth, along with some new faces, including Sacha Baron Cohen, Liam Neeson, and Tiny Fey, and in
cameo appearances, Drake and Kanye West, Rolling Stone reported.
The trailers had Twitter abuzz with glee.
