Angus T. Jones, the 19-year-old actor who played the role of Jake on "Two and a Half Men," won't return as a regular on the upcoming 11th season of the CBS comedy.
CBS confirmed recently that the show's leads, Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer, have both signed one-year contracts for the upcoming season, while Jones will possibly be returning in a recurring role, but not a full-time position, reported Britain's the Daily Mail.
Jones, a born-again Christian, called the show that launched his career "filth" and advised people to "please stop watching it," during a November 2012 interview with Seventh-day Adventist pastor.

Angus eventually apologized, saying he was sorry for "showing indifference and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed."
CBS CEO Les Moonves subsequently downplayed the 19-year-old’s criticism of the show.
"We took this boy who started with us when he was 8, and it seemed to be what happens with child stars over the course of time,"
Moonves said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal in early December. "He’s now making $300,000 per week which is not a bad salary for a 19-year-old kid . . . I don’t know what our status is with him (but) after going through what we went through with Charlie Sheen, it’s been a piece of cake."
Sheen was fired from “Two and a Half Men” last March following an alcohol and drug-fueled meltdown that included a prolonged dispute between the actor and Lorre and other executives at CBS.

A source close to Jones told Us Weekly that the actor's interest in pursuing a career in music is the real reason for his returning to the show in a recurring role, and not a full-time position.
"They tried really hard to keep him, but he was just done, done," the source said.
