A Miami blue parrot is apparently a fan of Anne Hathaway's, as the bird pecked the Academy Award-winning actress' head on Friday at the Miami Walk of Fame inauguration ceremony.

Hathaway was on hand for the Walk of Fame induction of Andy Garcia and Jamie Foxx, WTVJ-TV reported. The inaugural induction took place in conjunction with the world premiere of "Rio 2," which stars Foxx, Garcia, Hathaway, George Lopez, Kristin Chenoweth and Tracy Morgan.

Hathaway, 31, was posing for photos when the parrot jumped her shoulder and started pecking the top of the actress' head. She was a good sport and continued posing, smiling and laughing as the parrot stayed on her. Ironically, Hathaway was the voice of an animated parrot in "Rio 2."

Miami's new Walk of Fame is located at the city's Bayside Marketplace and is a non-profit corporation supporting the arts there.

Hathaway was the voice of Jewel, a parrot, in the original "Rio" in 2011. "Rio 2" is scheduled to hit theaters in April and will also feature the voices of Leslie Mann, Jesse Eisenberg and John Leguizamo.

The star reportedly stayed in Miami through the weekend. She was spotted at a Miami beach on Sunday.

"With her brunette bob slicked back the 'Les Miserables' star wore tortoise shell sunglasses as she waded waist deep into the turquoise waters," the Daily Mail reported. "Displaying her slender frame in a purple one-piece, Anne was seen dipping her head back into the ocean – clearly enjoying her time in the sun and surf. As she emerged from the waters she was met by husband Adam Schulman who wrapped her in a big beach towel."

She starred in two of the 2012's biggest movies, "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Les Miserables." She won the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award in 2013 for her role as Fantine in "Les Miserables." She was nominated for her first Oscar in 2009 for "Rachel Getting Married."

Hathaway will appear later this year in the movie "Interstellar" with fellow Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey, reuniting with "Dark Knight Rises" director Christopher Nolan.
