Ashley Wagner's "upset" face after her score during the team figure skating completion at the Sochi Olympics Saturday has gone viral and being compared to Summer Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney's captured reaction in 2012.
Wagner was all smiles with her teammates after a performance in the team competition on Saturday. Cameras caught her with the upset look after judges gave her a score of 63.10, landing her in fourth place,
according to US Weekly.
"I know roughly when I skate a good program where the score should end up," Wagner said after her scores,
reported Fox Sports. "So yeah to score that low was very disappointing for me. But honestly this performance was more for myself and mentally getting beyond this past couple of weeks. And I wanted to do everything I could to help out the team, and I really feel that I delivered on that part.''

Wagner's reactions brought on a flood of memes on Twitter and other social media sites.
"When the eyes of the entire world are trained on you during the most high stakes moment of your career, you'd be forgiven for not keeping a poker face," wrote Mary Elizabeth Williams, on
Salon.com. "In fact, maybe a naked expression of WTF-ness is just what's called for. So thank you, Ashley Wagner, for bringing an honest moment of 'This sucks' to the field of international competition."
Maroney was widely parodied throughout the Internet for giving a "not impressed" look on the medal stand during the 2012 London Summer Olympics after winning a silver medal in the vault competition,
according to The Hollywood Reporter.
