An astronaut aboard the International Space Station tweeted a picture of herself wearing a "Star Trek: Voyager" uniform from high above Earth, exciting fans of the show.

The "Dragon" refers to the SpaceX Dragon freighter, which brought supplies to the space station, including Cristoforetti's beloved coffee. The ship carried an "ISSpresso," a special coffeemaker.

Cristoforetti, a captain in the Italian Air Force, is serving as a flight engineer for the space station's Futura mission. She boarded the station in November and is expected to return in May.

Cristoforetti's uniform is from "Star Trek: Voyager," where actress Kate Mulgrew played Captain Kathryn Janeway.

Tweets about Cristoforetti's "Star Trek" selfie — in which she does look a bit like Captain Kathryn Janeway — called the photo "epic," "awesome," and said Cristoforetti is the "world's top nerd."
