The Ball family has their own reality show — "Ball in the Family" — on Facebook, and episodes featuring LaVar Ball and his basketball-playing sons have already been released.
The Ball family has been arguably the most polarizing sports family in recent months given LaVar's colorful personality, his son Lonzo Ball's NBA debut, his other two sons' basketball success thus far, and Mrs. Ball's health, which has been up and down since she suffered a stroke, according to CBS Sports.
The first two episodes of the show have been released on Facebook, ESPN noted. More episodes of the show will be released Sept. 10.
The show was produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, the same people who produced "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and "The Real World."
"We are thrilled to work with the Ball family to share their remarkable story at a pivotal moment in their lives," said Gil Goldschein, chairman and CEO of Bunim/Murray Productions, according to ESPN. "For fans, it will be a front-row seat to how the family deals with the sky-high expectations heaped upon it."
The show places a major focus on the three Ball sons: Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, UCLA freshman LiAngelo Ball, and high school basketball star LaMelo Ball.
However, LaVar Ball, who has drawn attention for his many rants, and his wife Tina Ball, who's been recovering from a stroke, will be a focal point in the show as well.
"Ball in the Family" is part of Facebook's new mission to develop original video content.
"Our goal is to make Facebook a place where people can come together around video," said Nick Grudin, Facebook's vice president of media partnerships, according to Deadline. "To help get there, we're supporting a small group of partners and creators as they experiment with the kinds of shows you can build a community around -- from sports to comedy to reality to gaming."
The trailer for the new show came out this week.
