A bear was caught on camera two nights in a row this week stealing entire dumpsters from behind a German restaurant in Colorado Springs.
The brazen bear sniffed its way to the dumpsters early Wednesday, and was able to wheel one of the bins away. Edelweiss restaurant often discards of its leftover food in the dumpsters at night.
"There's some fresh, really good food attracting the bear,"
Edelweiss manager Dieter Schnakenberg told Sky News. "She passes up the recycling bin and goes right for the good stuff."

The dumpsters can weigh up to half a ton when full, but that didn’t deter the bear, which showed up again the following night for a late-night snack. It's not clear where exactly the animal took the dumpsters, but they were not found.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife spokesman Randy Hampton encouraged Edelweiss to find a way to secure the dumpsters and stop the bear from coming back, as conflicts between black bears and people are increasing.
"The best-case scenario is they secure the dumpster and the bear doesn't come back," he told Sky News.
Schnakenberg is considering buying either a chain to tie the dumpster bins to the fence or a lock-top lid.
Restaurant patrons got a kick out of the thief.
"Well at least with the bear patrolling at night, you have good security against perps,"
one person commented on Edelweiss' Facebook page.
"We came down and ate last night after seeing the first video," another posted. "We couldn't resist a peek to the back area after dinner, too funny she came back again. One awesome bear!!"
