"American Horror Story" actor Ben Woolf died Monday of his injuries after being hit by a car on Thursday, a representative for Woolf said.

The actor died Monday afternoon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, publicist Zack Teperman said, The Associated Press reported. Woolf's family was at his side.

The 4-foot-4 actor was hospitalized in critical condition after he was hit by the side mirror of a passing vehicle on a Los Angeles-area street.

The motorist stopped at the scene last Thursday night and was not cited or arrested.

Woolf was a cast member on the FX show since 2011.

In a statement, Woolf's family said they have been overwhelmed by the love and support they've received for him.

Woolf was a "one-of-a-kind," and a caring and hard-working man, Teperman said.
