The Beyonce Knowles surrogate conspiracy resurfaced after a woman filed a suit claiming to be the birth mother of the singer's daughter with producer and rapper husband Jay Z, however the woman has filed claims against other celebrities before.
In a lawsuit filed in U.S. district court in New York July 14, Tina Seals stated that she would drop all claims to Blue Ivy Carter, the couple's daughter, if the superstar parents compensate her for services and if Knowles helps her with her music career by arranging and promoting one to five CDs of her songs,
according to Radar Online.
Seals said in court documents that she is currently homeless and unemployed, but she wanted confirmation she is the actual mother and named Jay Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, as a defendant in the lawsuit, according to a copy of the suit posted by Radar Online.

Leslie Barbara, a matrimonial family expert, told
HollywoodLife.com that if a surrogate came forward, she would have some leeway in a lawsuit.
"It is entirely possible that a surrogate could come in and have some rights to a child, even if rights were relinquished in a contract," Barbara said. "Even though (surrogates) do relinquish rights, at the end of the day the surrogate can come in and make claims. Basically, today's families are created in many different ways. The baby business is a whole subculture."
This is not the first time doubts about Knowles pregnancy have been raised. In October 2011, some questioned the singer's baby bump after her appearance on the Australian talk show "Sunday Night HD,"
according to ABC News.
"As Beyonce sat down, her mid-section appeared to collapse, causing some to wonder if she's wearing a prosthetic belly," reported ABC News. "The video's fueling the rumor that Jay-Z's wife hired a surrogate to carry their first child."
At the time, Knowles publicist Yvette Noel-Schure told ABC News in a statement that the charge was "stupid, ridiculous and false."
Radar Online did point out that Seals had developed a reputation for such lawsuits, filing claims against Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, in connection with their daughter, and Janet Jackson in connection with Michael Jackson’s kids.
