The 25th Bond film reportedly comes with a $25 million paycheck for Daniel Craig, who previously said he would rather cut his wrists open with glass than reprise his role as the iconic British agent.

Up until recently, the 50-year-old actor has been reluctant to play Bond in another film following his appearance in "Spectre," telling Time Out that he was "over it at the moment" and that he would only return to the franchise "for the money."

It seems that everyone has a price though because, according to Variety, he has been lured back to star in the upcoming Bond film with a hefty salary.

The reported $25 million paycheck far exceeds what other actors are set to earn in the next few years.

Bang Showbiz noted that second highest earner, Dwayne Johnson, would receive $22 million for starring in "Red Notice" in 2020 while Vin Diesel recently pocketed $20 million for his role in last year's "The Fate of the Furious."

Craig's appearance in the still-to-be-named 25th Bond film will mark his fifth return to the role of the secret agent, The Daily Mail said.

The star was always first choice, with executive producer Callum McDougall singing his praise on BBC Radio 4's "Today" show.

In that interview, McDougal said he would love for Daniel to return as Bond for another installment.

The upcoming Bond film will be written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who have collaborated on previous Bond films starring Craig, including "Casino Royale," "Quantum of Solace," "Skyfall," and "Spectre," and will hit movie screens on Nov. 8, 2019.
