Bonnie Tyler will perform her 1983 hit “Total Eclipse of the Heart” on board the Royal Caribbean Total Eclipse Cruise during the few minutes the moon completely blocks the sun for the Aug. 21 total solar eclipse.

The Welsh performer is a special guest on the cruise, which leaves from Orlando, Florida, on Aug. 20. DNCE with Joe Jonas will back Tyler for the performance, according to "Today."

“It’s not an easy song to sing,” Tyler said, but she still loves it as much as the first time she heard it, when she cried, "Today" reported.

“It’s a beautiful song. It’s a massive song, an evergreen song that you hear on the radio all the time, whether it’s an eclipse or not,” Tyler continued.

"Total Eclipse of the Heart" sold 6 million copies when it was released and was nominated for multiple Grammys in 1984. The song is a karaoke favorite even when an eclipse is not happening.

“Bonnie Tyler was a natural choice for this once-in-a-lifetime moment,” Royal Caribbean CEO Michael Bayley said, Time reported.

Tyler has recently toured in New Zealand, eastern Europe, and South America. She’s not worried about getting sick on the boat or thrown off by the eclipse, she told Time. “I have a ship of my own. I go with the flow, darling. I’m not worried about things like that,” she said.

Twitter users wanted in on the cruise and thought the idea of Tyler singing was marvelous. Most of them, anyway.
