Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are getting very friendly again.
The divorced couple has many people wondering if they are getting back together again. Brad and Jen sparked even more speculation about a reunion after a sentimental moment or two backstage at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday.
For weeks, there have been rumors that the two were back together and although things have remained strictly platonic, it did not stop them from exchanging hugs and smiles after both won awards at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
First up was Pitt, who took away the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in "Once Upon a time … in Hollywood."
His acceptance speech had Aniston grinning in the audience.
"Let's be honest, it was a difficult part," he said, according to Fox News. "The guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn't get on with his wife. It's a big stretch. Big."
Later in the evening, Aniston was called up to accept the Best Actress in a TV Drama award for her role in "The Morning Show."
Pitt, who was backstage at the time, fixated on the monitor to hear every word of her acceptance speech. He appeared to be genuinely proud of Aniston as he beamed at the screen.
Aniston said his reaction was "sweet," according to Extra.
"We've all grown up together, we really have," she added. "It just feels like a really fun night to celebrate and cheer each other on and keep working."
After receiving their respective awards, the former couple met backstage to swap stories and congratulate one another. A series of photos shows the duo happily chatting away, Fox News noted.
In one image, Aniston is seen touching Pitt's arm while another photo shows the two walking together, Aniston pressing her hand on Pitt's chest while he gently holds her wrist.
The images were enough to spark a new set of rumors of reconciliation, but the two continue to dismiss the reports.
Aniston made it clear during an interview when asked about so many people speculating that she and Pitt were back together that they are not. She told Entertainment Tonight, "It's hysterical, but what else are they going to talk about?" she laughed.
