Bree Walker, a well-known reporter and news anchor from the 1980s, was arrested for DUI in Orange County early Wednesday morning.
TMZ reported Walker, 61, went to jail, while her pit bull, Petey, who was in the car went to animal control. Apparently police tried to contact someone to pick up the dog but failed to do so.

Walker was booked for misdemeanor DUI and released from jail a few hours after her arrest, TMZ said.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Walker was arrested after police stopped her and she appeared drunk and then refused to take a Breathalyzer test.
Walker apparently failed to signal a left-hand turn, and when police stopped her, she appeared
“disheveled” and her eyes were “watery and bloodshot,” KTLA 5 reported.
Walker was well-known in the Los Angeles television world, working for KCBS-TV Channel 2 in the '80s and '90s. She was married at one time to co-anchor Jim Lampley.
She also was known for advocating for rights for people who are disabled and suffered from a condition known as syndactylism, a fusing of fingers and/or toes.
UPI reported that Walker entered rehab for alcohol abuse a few years ago.
Despite how long it’s been since Walker was in the spotlight, many online remembered her well enough to tweet about her arrest.
