Brittany Griner, WNBA all-star, has accused her estranged wife Glory Johnson of cheating during their engagement, according to new court documents.

Griner, with the Phoenix Mercury, filed for an annulment 28 days after marrying Johnson, who played with the Tulsa Shock, because she reportedly found out that Johnson had been texting an ex-boyfriend in secret, according to TMZ.

"Griner says she found out Johnson had been texting the guy in early April, months into their engagement," the celebrity gossip site reported. "Griner's point is she would never have married Johnson if she knew the old flame was still flickering."

Griner also accused Johnson in court documents of carrying on an intimate relationship with a man last summer while they were dating, but did not clarify if it was the same man she was allegedly texting in April.

Johnson's representative D.J. Fisher denied to TMZ that his client cheated on Griner, adding that Johnson is "popular and beautiful, so she's going to have male friends."

Griner, who will be starting for the West squad in the WNBA All-Star Game on Saturday, was arrested along with Johnson on April 22 on assault and disorderly conduct charges after an argument at their home in Goodyear, Arizona, according to People magazine and the WNBA.

In her court documents, Griner said she felt "pressured into marriage" by Johnson while she wanted to wait until each completed counseling.

Before Griner announced her annulment filing, Johnson went public with a pregnancy announcement, saying that she would miss the current WNBA season, noted People. She is currently expecting twins.

"It has always been a dream of mine to start a family with someone I love," Johnson said in a statement released by the Tulsa Shock in June. "Being a professional athlete that plays year round, there is never a perfect time to get pregnant without putting my career on hold."

Fisher told TMZ Sports back in June that Johnson was unaware of the Griner's annulment plans.

"Glory loves Brittney and made a huge sacrifice to carry a child, put her career on hold, to invest in their relationship and their future. As a result she won't be playing this season."

Griner has averaged 17.8 points and eight rebounds in six WNBA games this season before she was selected to her third WNBA all-star team. She has also recorded 23 blocks in those six games.
