Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, and Jon Stewart want you to "wear a friggin' mask!" The three New Jersey stars have teamed up for a new coronavirus safety billboard campaign to help spread awareness amid the pandemic. With infections on the rise, the New Jersey Department of Health and the New Jersey Pandemic Relief Fund has been looking for ways to encourage people to follow safety guidelines. This is where Bon Jovi, Springsteen and Stewart come in.

Over the weekend the trio posed for photographs that are now being used on 30 billboards across New Jersey, according to NJ.com. In the image they are all wearing their facemasks. The slogan on the billboard reads "wear a friggin' mask!"

Springsteen shared a photo of one of the billboards to Twitter on Wednesday.

"Teamed up with some fellow New Jerseyans to encourage everyone this holiday season to wear a friggin’ mask. Let’s all come together and #MaskUpNJ so we can get back to what we do best – singing along and dancing together," he wrote.

Gov. Phil Murphy's wife, Tammy Murphy, who founded the Pandemic Relief Fund, stressed the importance of taking precautions to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

"As we enter the holiday season, it’s important to stay vigilant about #COVID19," she wrote in a tweet that included a photo of the same billboard.

Earlier this year, the three celebrities also joined forces to support the relief fund via a charity special called "Jersey for Jersey." Since then the organization has managed to raise over $37 million to help community members in need amid the coronavirus pandemic.
