A massively "buff" kangaroo standing about 6-foot-5 has been intimidating residents along a park's walking trail in Australia.

The kangaroo has also been seen on a golf course, standing above the smaller kangaroos around him, residents of North Lake in Brisbane told Seven News.

"He's a big boy," Linda Hellyer said about her encounter with the muscular kangaroo, making sure she kept her distance. "We turned the corner and our mate jumped out. He's very big and I don't want to take him on. … We didn't intend to get that close because we obviously know kangaroos can be a bit dangerous."

Allan James, another person who saw the large kangaroo, added : "It's a big one. It is a big roo and I'm used to animals from out in the west and it is a big roo."

Even though kangaroos are a common sight in Brisbane, this kangaroo's size, estimated at about 209 pounds, and big muscles have caught the attention of everyone who has seen it, reported Reuters.

The Queensland Department of Environmental and Heritage Protection wrote on its website that people should be careful around kangaroos and keep as much distance between them as possible.

"If you enter an area where kangaroos or wallabies live, give them as much space as possible," the department said. "If you see one, stay away from it and watch how it behaves. If it moves toward you, or shows signs of being aggressive, move away. Even if it is only looking for food or human contact, a kangaroo or wallaby may still become aggressive."

Social media had a tongue-in-cheek response to the giant kangaroo.
