Carrie Underwood confessed she would consider quitting the music business if it ever came between her and hockey-player husband Mike Fisher.
Underwood, 30, and Fisher, 32, will celebrate their third wedding anniversary in July, but it hasn’t always been easy to stay connected, she told People Magazine. The six-time Grammy-winning singer is often travelling on tour and Fisher, who plays for the Nashville Predators, is always on the road for games.

"If Mike ever told me he needed me to quit, I'd quit," she told People. "When you make that promise to somebody, and you stand before God and your family and friends, you've got to do everything that you possibly can to make that work."
This isn’t the first time she has spoken out about the strength of her marriage. In February, she commented on how
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher deal with the drama that comes with the spotlight.
"We've seen a lot of celebrities, professional athletes, not exactly always being on their best behavior away from girlfriends, wives, families," Underwood said in the February issue of Allure. "And I've never had to worry about him because I've never trusted anybody so completely. Or I didn't know the true meaning of trust. He just... he just wouldn't do that."
On Thursday, Underwood returned to the stage that made her famous. The former "American Idol" winner appeared on the singing competition show to debut her new single, "See You Again."
The Checotah, Okla., native rose to fame in 2005 when she won season four of "American Idol." Her full-length debut, "Some Hearts," followed. Since she has clocked 17 No. 1 country hits on Billboard. She is a 2009 inductee into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame.
