Celine Dion’s new album, “Loved Me Back To Life,” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Billboard reported Wednesday that the album sold 77,000 copies and is Dion’s highest charting album since “One Heart” debuted at No. 2 in 2003.

The songstress, perhaps best known for performance of "My Heart Will Go On" for the movie "Titanic," says at this point in her career, she's not looking for notoriety, she's just doing what she loves to do.

"I don't have to do anything I don't want to do," the French-Canadian told USA Today. "I'm in the greatest place. I'm 45 and in the middle of my life. I'm cruising. All the decisions I'm making are coming from a grounded place."

Dion says her vocals on the new album have no effects from the studio, so it's a "very pure, very direct" sound, something a bit different than most of her other records.

But Dion wasn't afraid to try it, she told USA Today.

"I have nothing to lose. ... I'm not looking for career attention, for more success, more money. I'm just singing songs I chose because I love them," she said.

In October, an Internet death hoax rumored Dion had died in a private plane crash or in a car accident. She dubunked the rumors, saying they made her angry.

As for her new album, it ranks behind Eminem’s latest, “The Marshall Mathers LP2,” which debuted at No. 1 and sold 792,000 according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Two more debuts arrive in the Top 10 this week: Avril Lavigne's self-titled album (No. 5 with 44,000) and Pentatonix's "PTX: Vol. II" (No. 10 with 31,000), Billboard reported.
