Channing Tatum's Gas Station Stop Goes Viral

Channing Tatum's stop at a gas station in North Carolina on Tuesday went viral after the "Logan Lucky" star posted a video bantering with the store clerk and showing off his dance moves on Facebook Live.

The above video has racked up more than 13 million views.

The "Magic Mike" actor was traveling to promote "Logan Lucky" when he stopped at the Statesville, North Carolina, Sunoco store, The Charlotte Observer reported. The movie, which is filmed partly in Charlotte, is about brother who pull off a heist during a NASCAR race. It hits theaters Aug. 18.

Tatum shopped for a coffee and a candy bar, joked with customers, took a photo with a fan and signed the cashier's hat during the stop.

Twitter users shared their enthusiasm about the actor's North Carolina visit.

On Wednesday, Tatum attended a fundraiser and film premiere in Knoxville, Tennessee, noted USA Today.

"Logan Lucky" director Steven Soderbergh also attended the event, which helped raise more than $580,000 for Variety, the Children’s Charity, according to USA Today.

“Just giving back I think is just — I mean anything that we can do," Tatum said, according to the publication. "You know there’s way harder things to do in life than to come out with some really really sweet people.”
