No, Charles Mason isn't married, yet, but a 25-year-old California woman who runs several social media websites about the imprisoned cult leader, and calls herself his "fiancee," says wedded bliss for him and her is just a matter of paperwork.

Afton Burton, who now calls herself Star, told CNN in a special on Mason that aired over the weekend the 79-year-old Mason proposed to her about 10 times, that she has always responded yes, and that she's in love.

She told CNN that it doesn't matter if the California prison system will not allow conjugal visits and that he may eventually die in prison.

"He filed for the first round of paperwork," Burton said about the marriage. "I'm completely with him, and he's completely with me. It's what I was born for, you know. I don't know what else to say."

News about Burton wanting to marry Mason first emerged in November. She told Rolling Stone magazine that had been writing Manson since she was 19 and moved to California in 2011 to be close to the Corcoran State Prison where she can visit Manson on a regular basis.

"I'll tell you straight up, Charlie and I are going to get married," Star told Rolling Stone last year. "When that will be, we don't know. But I take it very seriously. Charlie is my husband. Charlie told me to tell you this. We haven't told anybody about that."

Manson and many of his followers were convicted for the brutal 1969 murders of pregnant actress Sharon Tate and seven people over the course of two nights in Los Angeles. At one of the murder sites former Manson follower Patricia Krenwinkel wrote "Death to Pigs" on the wall using the blood of a victim.

Despite Burton's confidence about the marriage happening, Manson downplayed the idea in the Rolling Stone article.

"That's a bunch of garbage," Manson told the magazine. "You know that, man. That's trash. We're just playing that for public consumption."

Burton runs a number of social media sites connected with Manson, including MansonDirect.com. She claims that Manson had nothing to do with the murders he was convicted of organizing.
