BET is considering giving convicted criminal Chris Brown a reality television show and is reportedly polling focus groups to see if they’d watch.
Quoting “multiple sources,”
TMZ said BET has consulted with several production companies about doing a series on Brown’s life after jail.

The singer got out of jail earlier this month after serving three weeks of his 131-day sentence, time he served after telling a judge that he got into an altercation and violated his probation.
The singer tweeted "humbled and blessed" when he got out.
Those blessings might extend to a big paycheck from reality TV, although TMZ said the focus groups — mainly comprised of African-American women — were split about watching Brown’s life.
“The majority said they’d watch to see if Chris would screw up,” TMZ wrote.
Brown’s repeated brushes with the law might make for good TV and clearly BET thinks viewers would tune in.
Some of his fans went online to warn the singer against the idea, for his own protection.
On Thursday,
Brown rejected a plea deal for an assault charge and now faces trial. He would have avoided more time in jail, but lawyers couldn't agree to what exactly he would admit to, so he could head be back behind bars if he loses the case.
