Two Russian daredevils climbed the second-tallest building in the world, the Shanghai Tower in China, without harnesses or ropes of any kind, and the video of their mindblowing journey has nearly 3 million YouTube views.

Time magazine reported that the two masked climbers are Russian adventurers Vitaliy Raskalov and Vadim Makhorov.

The two not only climbed the building, but they also climbed to a final height of 2,132 feet by scaling the crane at the top. Their GoPro cameras recorded the entire thing.

As awestruck viewers watched the video, comments popped up every few minutes on YouTube showing their stunned amazement at what the two men did.

“Palms are sweaty knees weak arms are heavy,” wrote Justin Batten.

“Alright so that was the scariest thing I've ever seen,” said Aaron Johnson. Another added that “it’s worse than watching a horror movie.”

The same account that posted the Shanghai Tower video posted a video of climbers on Moscow’s Kiev Bridge two years ago, scaling the bridge’s pylons again without the aid of any ropes should they fall. There were four people in that video, all without any hoods as the two wore in the Shanghai Tower video.

A September 2013 Daily Mail article honored the photographers who get the photos of these types of amazing athletes, pointing out that they go to almost as extreme lengths to get the shot.

“What continues to drive me is the love and challenge of documenting unique stories and the incredible privilege to share the athletes' stories with a wider audience,” photographer Krystle Wright told Daily Mail.
