To market its upcoming 44th season, "Sesame Street" has released a promo video of Cookie Monster performing a parody of Icona Pop's summer hit "I Love It," albeit with some slightly different lyrics.

"Me Want It (But Me Wait)" is about the Muppet's struggle with self-control.

"Me get this feeling when me see a cookie on the plate / Me want to grab it, want to eat it, oh, me no can wait / But now me know something / Self-control is something me must learn," Cookie Monster sings.

The song is seemingly a continuation of the anti-obesity message that "Sesame Street" started promoting in 2006 when it used Cookie Monster to teach kids about restraint and eating in moderation.

"Sesame Street" often covers hit songs, like in 2009 with Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."

Twitter users think the "I Love It" parody is hilarious.

The 44th season of "Sesame Street" premieres September 16.
