Courtney Love has become "a little obsessive" about finding the missing Malaysian plane and she posted satellite images online this week to present her theories.
Love, the 49-year-old Hole frontwoman, said she's been using graphics from the crowdsourcing site Tomnod to sift through satellite images in an effort to spot the aircraft, which mysteriously disappeared off the radar last week.

"I really doubt aliens took it. It's got to be somewhere.
I'm a little obsessive," Love told New York magazine's Daily Intelligencer this week. "I hope they find the plane, I pray they're still alive, it's sad and my heart goes out to all those involved."
The singer and wife of the late Kurt Cobain posted her findings on Facebook and Twitter Monday. In the pictures, Love pointed out what she believes to be the missing plane and a surrounding oil spill.
"I figured a plane would still be leaking some fuel so I searched for signs of an oil slick," she said. "I found one and there appeared to be an object nearby. I don't know if it is the plane or not, but I figured I'd do my part and bring some awareness to the site, for the sake of all the families involved."
The ill-fated Malaysia Airlines plane, which was carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew members, departed from
Kuala Lumpur March 8 but lost contact with air traffic control and disappeared from radar screens about an hour into its trip to Beijing.
In what officials are calling an "unprecedented aviation mystery," the plane issued no distress call but evidence suggests it may have turned back on its route before completely disappearing from the radar-tracking monitors.
Some 26 nations are now aiding in the search for the missing jet and the general public has joined in too, perusing hundreds of satellite images that were posted online last week.
