Danica McKellar kisses Avril Lavigne in a recently released comic-like music video that features knife-wielding lobsters, drunken-driving German shepherds, and a shark-headed bear.

McKellar, who is best known for her role as Winnie Cooper on "The Wonder Years," where she played the wholesome, nerdy, suburban teenage love interest of the show's protagonist, Kevin Arnold, played by Fred Savage, appears to be changing her image.

In the video for Lavigne's latest single titled "Rock N Roll," the now 38-year-old McKellar engages in a 20 second embrace/kiss with Lavigne.

The 28-year-old Canadian-born pop rock singer, wearing a camouflage shirt and military helmet, then voices over the scene with a famous line uttered by Kevin Arnold after he and Winnie Cooper kissed on screen for the first time.

"It was the first kiss for both of us," Lavigne says as she appears to channel her inner Arnold. "We never really talked about it afterwards, but I think about the events of that day again and again and somehow I know that Winnie does too."

Lavigne's superhero character goes on to battle knife-wielding lobsters in pursuit of a masked villain that, once disrobed, shows itself to be a shark-headed bear, which she eventually beheads.

To top off the video, actor Billy Zane, known for his performances in "Titanic" and "The Phantom," makes a cameo on a Segway transportation device, which turns into a rocket that propels him into space, but not before he gives her a thumbs up.

This isn't the first time McKellar has engaged in some risqué behavior.

In 2005, McKellar, who is recently divorced and has a son, posed in lingerie for Britain's Stuff magazine, and then again in 2010 for the men's magazine Maxim.

In addition to her music video appearances and photo shoots, McKellar is still acting, having recently appeared in the TV series "The Big Bang Theory," "How I Met Your Mother," and "NCIS."
