Dee Dee McCarron, Alabama QB's Mom, Sorry for Jameis Winston Tweet

Dee Dee McCarron, mom of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron, has apologized for a tweet she sent out – and quickly deleted – that seemed to criticize the way Florida State’s Jameis Winston was speaking during an interview.

McCarron sent out a tweet that said “Am I listening to English?” but although she quickly removed it, the internet community already saw it. It's believed she tweeted it during Winston's interview after an exciting win for Florida State over Auburn on Monday.

Surprisingly, comments on a Fox Sports article aren’t all trashing McCarron, many saying that her comment wasn’t racist, although probably not the smartest thing to do. And some African-Americans got on the site to say the same thing, that people should learn to enunciate.
