Deep-Fried Big Mac? Food Blogger Experiments With McDonald's Favorite

Deep-fried Big Macs could become the latest foodie trend after a fan of the McDonald's favorite tried frying the dish and later posted photos to social media.

“I was inspired to make the deep-fried Big Mac because Big Macs are the only thing I like from McDonald's and everyone knows deep-fried is always better, so I just put two and two together,” Jeremy of PeepMyEats.com told the Daily Mail. “Next thing you know I have this awesome creation."

The recipe, shared through the food blog’s video, calls for a McDonald’s Big Mac, two eggs, and breadcrumbs, and only takes a few minutes for anyone to make in a deep-fryer.

The recipe will add a whopping 1,000 calories to the traditional 563-calorie Big Mac, the Daily Mail noted.

The blog posted a photo of the heart attack-worthy burger on Instagram, dismissing themselves from any negative health effects their creation could cause.

Junkfood lovers have shared mixed reactions about the deep-fried Big Mac via Twitter. Some crave the creation, others are grossed-out, and some just cannot stop thinking about it.

PeepMyEats.com is also responsible for other fattening food creations such as the bacon wrapped chicken burger, the Cinnabon waffle sandwich, and hashbrown buns.
