Dina Lohan, mother to troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan, escaped jail time this week for her 2013 DUI, and will instead have her driver's license suspended for one year.
Lohan, 51, was pulled over in Oyster Bay, New York, in September 2013 for reportedly driving some
22 mph over the speed limit, according to ABC News. The famous mom then blew a 0.2 blood-alcohol level during a breath test.
As part of a plea deal in which Lohan pleaded guilty, she will also have to serve 100 hours of community service, use an interlock device on her vehicle for one year, pay a $3,000 fine, and participate in a drunken-driving program and victim-impact panels, ABC News noted.

"In spite of the fact that the District Court of Nassau County dispenses the sternest DWI sentences in America, which traditionally provides for a period of incarceration and three years of probation, Dina Lohan's sentence did not provide for any period of incarceration or probation, in light of [her] exemplary record with no prior arrest history and in deference to the Nassau County screening evaluation of Ms. Lohan, which concluded that she has no alcohol or substance abuse issues," Lohan's lawyer said in a statement.
"Clearly, it was recognized that Dina Lohan has been a life-long resident of Nassau County, a good and loving parent to four children, and the arrest was borne out of an isolated act of indiscretion on the occasion of her 50th birthday," the statement continued. "Dina Lohan is happy to put this unfortunate event behind her."
