Donald Trump's golf etiquette is simply deplorable, or so says an outraged golfing community after the U.S president drove his golf cart across the putting greens of the Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey.

Sports Illustrated shared a video of Trump’s latest antics on Twitter on Thursday, captioning it, "President Trump driving his golf cart all over the green is the most Trump thing ever."

Since then the post, which was originally recorded and shared by user @MikeNFrank, has gone viral.

The video shows President Trump casually maneuvering his golf cart across the putting green.

He then drives up to the golfers filming the incident to engage in some light conversation, mentioning that he was playing well up until that particular hole.

Many would think that, as the owner of the golf club, Trump could get away with breaking the occasional rules.

However, golfers are stringent on etiquette and expressed shock at this incident.

Meanwhile, others saw the humorous side.

Earlier this year Trump sparked debate during the Group of Seven summit, when he opted to ride in a golf cart while his foreign counterparts walked through Taormina, Sicily.

While the six world leaders from Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan walked 700 yards to take a group photo at a piazza in a hilltop town, the U.S. leader decided to wait until he could get a golf cart, noted The Hill.
