Brady and Budnchen originally listed the home for $50 million, meaning Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Romelle Young, got it for a bargain price.

Apple purchased the Beats By Dre headphones company from founders Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine for $3 billion. The deal made Dre hip-hop's richest man.

Forbes reported in May before the deal was done. "It's not quite enough to land on the Forbes 400, but it would easily make him hip-hop's richest man, topping current champion Diddy by $100 million."
