Dylan Moses is just into his first month of high school football as a freshman at University Lab in Baton Rouge, La., but he has already committed to play football at Louisiana State University.
The Baton Rouge Advocate confirmed Moses's decision with his father, Edward Moses, Sr. The 15-year-old is the youngest athlete ever to be offered an LSU football scholarship.

LSU beat out national champion Alabama for Moses, who visited LSU in February while he was still in junior high school.
The linebacker and running back picked his hometown program coached by Les Miles over Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Texas,
according to Yahoo! Sports.
It's unusual for someone so young to attract so much attention from famed college football programs, but Moses is not like most athletes his age. He is the top-rated high school freshman in the country and was first offered scholarships in the eighth grade, after attending LSU's summer football camp.
At the camp, the 6-foot-1 Moses impressively ran a 4.46 40-yard dash and jumped 34 inches in the vertical leap, numbers that rival some of the best college football players today.
To put it in perspective, Moses's 40-yard dash time would have been the best linebacker time in the NFL combine for pre-draft college players this spring, while his vertical leap would have been sixth best among incoming pro prospects,
according the league's website.
"This is definitely not your typical 2017 prospect, and there’s no doubt this is a huge get for LSU," Rivals.com's Jason Howell said. "Moses is an extremely gifted athlete and has Division I size and athleticism right now today. He has put in most of his time at running back and linebacker, and if he continues to grow, he could find a few more possible positions out there."
For now, Moses will have to earn his stripes playing high school football. He is the starting linebacker at University Lab and on offense is the top backup to junior running back Nicholas Brossette, another LSU recruit.
