Ellen DeGeneres is soaring high after hosting the Oscars, with her daytime talk show on Monday hitting its highest-ever ratings, according to The Associated Press.

This year’s Oscars had 43.7 million viewers, the most of any Academy Awards since 2000, according to Nielsen estimates.

"The Ellen Degeneres Show" on Monday, which featured guest appearances by Oscar winners and a man who delivered pizzas during the awards ceremony, averaged a 4.8 household rating, breaking its previous record of a 3.8 rating in January 2004, according to The Wrap.

The post-Oscars episode of “Live With Kelly and Michael” also hit its highest ratings in more than two years with a 4.9 rating, according to Broadcasting & Cable.

DeGeneres has drawn widespread attention for hosting the Oscars, and a selfie she took during the ceremony and posted on Twitter broke records with more than 3 million retweets.
