Biologists working in a remote area of Cleveland National Forest on Monday found the body of Erica Alonso, a Laguna Hills, California, woman missing since February.
Alonso's exact cause of death wasn’t determined, but an autopsy Wednesday revealed
no obvious signs of trauma, the Orange County Register reported.
Alonso disappeared Feb. 15 after a fight with her boyfriend, and family members called police two days later when she failed to show up for work. She was 27 at the time of her disappearance.

told KTLA-TV that a toxicology test was being performed. The identity of the body, which initially was determined by tattoos, will be officially confirmed by fingerprint and/or dental record comparison.
Alonso’s father, Isaac Alonso, said he was confident investigators would determine what happened to his daughter.
“They made me feel that I can trust them that they’re going to find the one who did it,” Isaac Alonso said, according to KTLA-TV.
"On behalf of the family, we want to thank everybody who has helped us,"
Alonso’s brother Isaac Alonso Jr. said, according to KABC-TV.
