A "Family Feud" zombie question led to an uncomfortable moment after a contestant's bizarre response appeared to have racial undertones that were not entirely clear, even to host Steve Harvey.
The question: "Name something you know about zombies."
The response: "Black!"

The blonde, female contestant who gave the answer was met with an immediate uncomfortable laughter from the audience as well as the opposing family, who are African-American.
"They're black. OK...," Harvey, who himself is black, said as he turned from the contestant and away from the camera, mouthing something inaudible.
The noticeably embarrassed "Family Feud" contestant named Christie attempted to clarify her response, fumbling as she said, "I don't know if they're white... or... I... just... probably."
After an 8-second pause, Harvey turns to the answer board and the contestant begins clapping while saying, "It's up there, it's up there!"
Harvey then yells at the woman, "you shut up lady!" as the studio audience laughs out loud.
Laughing, Harvey yelled, "The black zombies!" which not surprisingly was not one of the top six responses among those surveyed.
While some defended the woman's comment on social media sites online, suggesting her answer was not racially motivated but rather she might have been thinking of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video where the king of Pop appears as a zombie, others were not as kind.
